With a heavy heart, my family and I are asking for your help. My sister, Jessica Nicole “Nikki” Dalton, passed suddenly, yesterday, June 30, 2017. She leaves behind her 3 year old little boy, Dalton. She was only 24.
Over the past few years, Jessica’s Mom and Dad (Kathy and Chris Dalton), have been the sole financial supporters for both Jessica and her Son; to help Jessica become financially independent, and find her path in life.
Jessica’s sudden passing has come at a shock to her family and friends. Consequently, her passing has also caused a great expense, and both Kathy and Chris need your help to bring Jessica home from Winchester, VA to her hometown in Chesapeake, VA, so that her family and friends can all say goodbye.
Kathy and Chris did not ask for help in terms of financial assistance with Jessica’s funeral arrangements. This is our attempt to help, as my wife and I know the many burdens they have faced over the past couple years, let alone the very recent passing of my sister, and my Parents’ only daughter.
As the saying goes, “No parent should have to bury a child..” and although my Parents’ hearts will never fully heal from Jessica’s passing, the very least I can do (with everyone’s help) is help ease the pain by lessening their financial worries and help deal with the logistics of her services.
I will keep both my Facebook, Jessica’s Facebook, and this GoFundMe Page updated with any information regarding the What, When, and Where of her funeral services.
