My name is Jessica. I have 3 children: a 10-year-old, a 6-year-old, and a 16-month-old.
We recently have gone through a series of events in our lives that have made it hard to work. I recently came back to work from having surgery myself; I was out of work for two weeks. My 6-year-old recently had some trauma on 4/4. To top it off, I have my 16-month-old baby girl, Ari (Arizbeth), in the hospital for cellulitis, which is turning into a serious infection. Doctors are unsure why or what caused this, but it is affecting the right side of her face. We are currently in Riley Children's Hospital doing around-the-clock IV antibiotics, which have not helped. It's only gotten worse, and if it keeps getting worse, they are considering surgery.
Now, I'm not the type of person to ask for help, but I am asking now. With me recently coming back to work from being off two weeks for my surgery and having to miss work to be in the hospital with my daughter, it's putting a weight and stress on my family. I'm currently here, sitting, trying to find a work-life balance, having to choose my daughter before my job. I'm asking for help so I can cover bills and mortgage. That way, I can focus on my daughter's recovery. We got admitted on Wednesday, April 9, and we are currently still limited and have no idea when we'll be able to get discharged. Any type of help would be highly appreciated. Many people don't see the worst coming; I sure did not see the worst coming my way, and it caught me off guard and unprepared. I am trying to hold it all in one piece, but this is a long journey for Ari to recover and will require close follow-ups.

Los médicos no saben con certeza por qué ni qué la causó, pero le está afectando el lado derecho de la cara. Actualmente estamos en el Hospital Infantil Riley con antibióticos intravenosos las 24 horas, que no han ayudado. La situación solo ha empeorado, y si sigue empeorando, están considerando una cirugía.
No soy de las que piden ayuda, pero la pido ahora. Mi reciente regreso al trabajo después de dos semanas de baja por una cirugía y tener que faltar al trabajo para estar en el hospital con mi hija está generando una gran carga y estrés en mi familia. Ahora mismo estoy aquí, sentada, intentando encontrar un equilibrio entre mi vida laboral y personal, teniendo que elegir a mi hija antes que a mi trabajo. Pido ayuda para poder pagar las facturas . Así podré concentrarme en su recuperación. Nos ingresaron el miércoles 9 de abril y aún estamos internados, y no sabemos cuándo nos podrán dar de alta. Cualquier ayuda sería muy apreciada. Mucha gente no ve venir lo peor; yo, sin duda, no preví lo peor que me esperaba, y me pilló desprevenida y sin estar preparada. Estoy intentando mantener la calma, pero la recuperación de Ari es un largo camino y requerirá un seguimiento al diario.
