Jessica Monahan’s Bday!

Its my wife’s birthday! If you know Jessica, you know that she is the most kind and caring person and everyone that knows her has been blessed by her friendship in some way.

For her birthday this year, I’m raising the funds to build a soft headboard for our bed (that I will gift her at Christmas time with a card that includes your names).

This has been a top priority because our walls are made of brick and plaster. When a human head meets that surface, it’s quite unforgiving. Imagine hitting your head in concrete, unlike drywall which will spread the impact throughout the wall.  There was one time in particular when our 14-mo old daughter slept with us while she was sick.  In the morning, she hit her head so hard on the wall that we monitored her for signs of concussion the rest of the day (thankfully she was ok). 

We want a baby-proof bed and a worry-free sleep!

I’m estimating about $25 to go towards gofundme’s fees and $100+ for the headboardsupplies.
