This is for Jessica Burns. Let me tell you about about the most kind person.
Imagine being 35 years old, no family history of breast cancer, 3 children, work full time, enjoying life and out of no where - being told you have STAGE 4 BREAST CANCER and it has spread to other organs!!! Raised in Gaines, graduating from Swartz Creek High School, she's been a resident in Fenton for 8 years. Jessica is a hardworking girl, the jack of all trades at Skipper Buds for 15+ years. Here are just a few of her jobs: Service Writer, Parts Advisor, Accessories, Storage & Slips, and Warranty, just to name a few. She's spends her time caring for and working hard to help support her family of 3 girls, age 5, 10, and 15. And enjoying life and the great outdoors with her fiance Brian Brady, who proposed December 24th 2015, and they plan to marry in the near future.
Jessica's diagnosis is a very aggressive form of breast cancer, Invasive ductal carcinoma stage 4 that's metastasized to two other areas, liver and spine. She begins Chemo treatments 11/14 assuming her liver is strong enough and will continue over a YEAR since her liver is not as strong as doctors would like. Chemo is half doses and will take twice the normal time. Due to her treatment she is no longer able to work, so all donations are welcome.
For those local to the Fenton area, we are having a fundraiser dinner at the Moose Lodge on Lake Fenton, December 14th, 2019 from 4-11pm.
