<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>

</div><img alt="" media_type="3" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/89787709_1742739863872280_r." width="100%" />
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div><img alt="" media_type="3" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/89787709_1742742645125431_r." width="100%" />
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div><img alt="" media_type="3" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/89787709_1742743825607186_r." width="100%" />
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div><img alt="" media_type="3" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/89787709_1742743865369888_r." width="100%" />
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div><img alt="" media_type="3" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/89787709_1742747275211871_r." width="100%" />
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div>• Folientunnel (12 x 40 m) als Gewächshaus (8.400 Euro)
</div>
<div>• Handgeräte für den Gemüseanbau (700 Euro)
</div>
<div>• Handsähmaschine (800 Euro)
</div>
<div>• Einachsfräse für die Bodenbearbeitung (1.200 Euro)
</div>
<div>• Bewässerungspumpe, Beregungsanlage, Leitungen (1.800 Euro)
</div>
<div>• Samen und Pflanzen für die 1. Saison (700 Euro)
</div>
<div>• 70 –100 Hühner und einen mobilen Stall (1.000 Euro)
</div>
<div><br />
</div><img alt="" media_type="3" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/89787709_1742745055376715_r." width="100%" />
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</em>

<div>My name is Jesse Wafula and I am part of SoliLe e.V.. We need 14,500 euros to set up an agricultural project with organic vegetable cultivation and a chicken farm on collective land in Zechin (Brandenburg).

<div><br />
</div>
<div>I grew up in western Kenya in a large family without financial stability. I had a passion for farming from an early age and dreamed of having my own farm one day.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I first studied livestock farming at university. But I was more interested in the practical side. That's why I traveled to South Africa in 2016 and learned a lot about poultry farming there until 2017. Back in Kenya, I ventured into small-scale farming and teamed up with others. This gave me a good understanding of agriculture.
</div>
<div><br />
</div><img alt="" media_type="3" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/89787709_1742805537449058_r.jpeg" width="100%" />
<div><br />
</div>
<div>In 2022, I traveled to Europe as an agricultural expert for an internship and deepened my knowledge of modern agricultural techniques.
</div>
<div><br />
</div><img alt="" media_type="3" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/89787709_1742805559555584_r.jpeg" width="100%" />
<div><br />
</div>
<div>2023-2024 I worked on a farm in Brandenburg and learned a lot about large-scale farming and greenhouse cultivation.
</div>
<div><br />
</div><img alt="" media_type="3" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/89787709_1742805579574299_r.jpeg" width="100%" />
<div><br />
</div>
<div><em>A happy coincidence: </em>during this time, I came across the collective rural project SoliLe e.V. (Verein solidarisch Leben), which had bought land in 2023 and was looking for new partners – exactly the experience and expertise that I brought with me.
</div>
<div><br />
</div><img alt="" media_type="3" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/89787709_1742805628610451_r.jpeg" width="100%" />
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Step by step, I grew into the collective and got to know other small farms and community-supported agriculture (SoLaWi) in the area. Thanks to this network and mutual support, such as borrowing equipment or sharing experiences, we are now at the point where we want to set up our own agricultural project on our land and I can use all my knowledge.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><em>But there are still hurdles to overcome: </em>For me as a migrant in Germany, the living and working conditions are poor. I don't want to be dependent on state aid, without security and long-term prospects, but to build a life according to my own ideas.
</div>
<div><br />
</div><img alt="" media_type="3" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/89787709_174280565985534_r.jpeg" width="100%" />
<div><br />
</div>
<div><em>What we intend to do: </em>The SoliLe e.V. site has 5.5 hectares of farmland. We would like to set up a large foil tunnel as a greenhouse to extend the season and, as a first step, grow organic vegetables on around 5000 square meters of land, which we would like to sell in Brandenburg and Berlin (as weekly vegetable boxes). We would also like to keep 70-100 chickens, whose eggs we will sell to create an additional source of income and give the project a more diverse basis. This way we can also contribute to the regional food supply and be part of the growing network of small farmers and solidarity farms in Brandenburg.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><em>Why do we need your support? </em>We need an investment of 14,500 euros to set up our project.
</div>
<div>We would like to finance the following:
</div>
<div>• Foil tunnel (12 x 40 m) as a greenhouse (8,400 euros)
</div>
<div>• Hand tools for vegetable cultivation (700 euros)
</div>
<div>• Hand seeder (800 euros)
</div>
<div>• Single-axle tiller for soil cultivation (1,200 euros)
</div>
<div>• Irrigation pump, sprinkler system and pipes (1,800 euros)
</div>
<div>• Seeds and plants for the first season (700 euros)
</div>
<div>• 70–100 chickens and a mobile coop (1,000 euros)
</div>
<div><br />
</div><img alt="" media_type="3" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/89787709_1742805746790265_r.jpeg" width="100%" />
<div><br />
</div>
<div><em>Why is that important? </em>Your support means a real opportunity for me to build a life in Germany with prospects and security. But it's much more than that – it's about building a sustainable and community-oriented life that will benefit both my family and my community here in Brandenburg and Berlin. I want to use my skills and experience from Kenya to create something of my own and strengthen sustainable agriculture in Brandenburg.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you from the bottom of my heart for every donation, every sharing and every support! <em>Your Jesse Wafula from SoliLe e.V.</em>
