Jess Hollingsworth's Cancer Battle!

Jess Hollingsworth has been battling cancer, Non Hodgkins Lymphoma, for almost a year.  He has endured three different types of chemo so far. Unfortunately, his type of cancer has proven to be very aggressive and fast growing with only limited shrinkage. We have found some hope at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX. Jess and Sheryl have been flying back and forth and staying in housing there for sometime now. This has been an expensive process. MD Anderson has proposed Car T Cell therapy which includes a T cell collection from his blood. These T cells will be modified genetically by adding a cancer fighting gene. Car T Cell Therapy is very new, it was approved by the FDA earlier in 2018 and only preformed at a couple hospitals in the nation. Although there are many possible side effects, several of the nation's top oncologists are recommending this therapy as an option when other treatments have not been successful.
Having said this, we are very hopeful and we feel blessed that Jess has this option, but need your support. Jess is in good spirits and he is eager to continue this journey. We want to thank each of you for your continued prayers and support for Jess and our family!
