Hello! I'm Jesi, and as most of you know, in June of 2017 my life was flipped upside down when I was diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disease called PSC (primary sclerosing cholangitis) There is no known cure for this disease either, making it a terminal illness, aside from a liver transplant
Dueing my Liver Transplant Evaluation in April 2018.. they discovered that my sickness did turn to cancer (Cholangiocarcinoma) to be exact. THEN during a biopsy to see if the cancer spread to my abdomen.... the doctor discovered a stone in my appendix... which in turn lead to having my appendix surgically removed. After the biopsy... it looks like the appendix tested positive for cancer as well.... ALL cancer is seriously but the type I have is very hard to treat and overcome!
I start chemo June 26th 2018.
To say the last year of my life has been a roller coaster would be a complete understatement. But I just have to keep rolling with the punches.
