Jerry Pilachowski Go Fund Me

Donation protected
Before you read ahead, I need you to hear this. Jerry did not come to me and ask me to set this page up for him. This is something that I and others knew we needed to do for him. I asked his permission and it took a great deal of humbling for him to even consider allowing me to set this up. Please know that this is simply a friend giving other friends and family a chance to help Jerry gain control of his finances and start fresh. Jerry is simply grateful for any donation regardless of the size that is made to help him during this time. Thank you.

I met Jerry when I was a young volunteer with Creation Concerts (now CMI Live Productions). He along with many others made me feel right at home as a part of the crew and before I knew it... I had a whole other family. They welcomed me into their world and made me feel right at home. Over time... I stopped volunteering on a more regular basis because well let's face it... life gets busy. But Jerry and I stayed in touch and checked in with each other from time to time.

Throughout the years I watched online as many a time Jerry would post about some of the hard times he was encountering. Every time I saw that he was facing yet another challenge... he would always inspire me with his mustard seed-like faith that God was still there, and he would make it through... somehow. As we all know all too well, life doesn't always go the way we'd like, or hoped, or planned. And for Jerry the same was true.

Through hard economic times like many of us faced, he fell behind during the recession, and accrued quite a bit of debt in the way of taxes, $12,560 to be exact. Now Jerry faces the obstacle of likely losing his home in a sheriff sale in just about a month. I personally - and I know that many of you as well - don't want to see that happen. He also is facing numerous challenges with repairs needing to be made to his bucket truck and his Excursion.

I know Jerry, and I know that he would just be happy to keep a roof over his head and to be able to earn a good solid living through his company. Jerry has owned his own business, Creation Cabinetry & Sign Co., for 28 years.  In order to continue an increase workflow and maintain a substantial income, he will need his bucket truck to keep the business afloat and he will need it soon. The bucket truck is currently in need of repairs in the way of $8,500.  His Excursion snowplow truck burned up in March.  He bought another one with the insurance money and $5,000 in savings.  He drove the newer Excursion for 220 miles and the engine blew. It cost $7,100 to replace the engine. The total debt comes to $28,160.00.

Please friends, if any of you are willing or able, consider making a donation. I know that Jerry will be thankful for anything... even and especially your prayers alone.
