Jerry Romero's Medical Fund

Jerry is a 39 year old wonderfully loving husband and father.  On the 4th of July, Jerry was injured in an accident while playing with his 6 year old son in the yard. Jerry has sustained numerous injuries to his spinal cord including C5/C6, T8/T9 and L5 through S1.  Jerry is in extreme pain and is experiencing partial paralysis of all four limbs at this time.  Jerry underwent surgery yesterday to remove a bulging disc, fuse two vertebrae together and put in an implant/artificial disc.  The long-term effects of Jerry's injuries are unknown at this time, we are believing and praying he will regain use of his limbs. 
Jerry is a certified, professional Wildlife Rescuer/Relocator, a job that requires much strength and endurance. Jerry is an extremely hard and dedicated worker. We do not know if/when Jerry will be able to return to his job and earn an income to support his family. 
Jerry does not currently have medical insurance and his family is asking for help to cover the medical expenses for the medical care and surgery he has received in addition to the care that will be needed over the coming months.
