As many of you know, I have had severe lower back pain for many many years. Kaiser Permanente wants to do a fusion from thoracic one all the way down. I have decided to go to Tampa Florida to the Laser Spine Institute and have surgery there. This is all they do and they have some of the top surgeons in the world.
Hopefully I won't need all of this money, but they said if they have to do more work than expected, it may go up to $30,000 plus paying for airfare etc.
Kaiser Permanente will not pay for any of this because it is out of their Company. Medicare will pay for some of this, but not much.
