Thank you so much to everyone that donated. The money raised helped a great deal in getting Jerry a custom wheelchair and additional physical therapy, as well as other things. Jerry has requested I close the fundraiser as it's provided what they needed. He thanks you all for your generosity and support. I'm grateful for Jerry's friendship and it was wonderful for me to see how many other lives he touched. The best to all of you in these unprecedented times.

*Please don’t post photos when you donate, it’s hard for Jerry to see photos of himself.* Jerry was diagnosed with ALS in 2016 when he was at the height of fitness and too young to accept a terminal illness. His medical costs over time have added up and insurance won’t cover even some of the most basic needs such as an electric wheelchair, breathing machine, full-time nurse, and other necessities to improve his quality of life. These health care costs down the road will take a heavy toll, and to give back to Jerry and Sherry, we wanted to help with expenses. Jerry has unselfishly given so much to his friends and the birding community, so please give if you can, and if now is not a good time for you, reach out and let Jerry know how special he is to you and how much he’s impacted your life.
