Jerry & Diane's Hurricane Harvey

As you know, my Mom and Dad, (Jerry and Diane Anderson) live in Rockport, TX, where the eye of Hurricane Harvey traveled over as it hit land.  They were luckier than some of their neighbors but still lost enough in the Hurricane to create a hardship.  At ages 83 and 79 (sorry Mom for letting that cat out of the bag), it can be difficult to bounce back on all fronts.  As their kids, we are asking for help to make one of their hardships easier to cope with- the financial burden of replacing the damaged or lost items of their home.

The inside of their home seems to be intact.  There are still a lot of questions that aren't answered due to an inability to test or inspect some parts of their home but what we do know needs to be replaced is the following:
Roof = Approximately $7,000
Utility Shed with the Washer, Dryer, and Refridgerator = Approximately $3,000.  (The shed contained tools and various stored items in it too.)

Currently they are staying in a hotel until it is safe to travel and the area has utilities restored to begin work.

The plan for now is to move Mom to stay with Georgia (my sister) because of her health.  Dad is going to stay behind and try to fix everything up before he joins Mom for a much needed break.  We think another family member will join Dad to help him.
