Jerri’s cancer fight

In 2008 my fun loving and vivacious cousin Jerri Trepanier was diagnosed with early signs of ovarian cancer which led to a full hysterectomy.

A year and a half later she felt a small lump in her right breast. She didn't think much of it because she was young. She thought it was a cyst.

A few months ago she felt sharp shooting pains and some deformity in her right breast. Her right armpit started to swell and her arm alternated being numb with shooting pains and burning.

On the July 25th, she had a mammogram and a bilateral ultrasound.

On July 30th she received the call that the mass was cancer positive.  
On August 1st Jerri was informed that she has aggressive T2N1-lllC- Advanced Triple Negative breast cancer in stage 3.

She recently had surgery to install a port in her chest for chemotherapy. She had an appointment on August 9th for a biopsy of her lymph node under her armpit- she was told there’s a 90% chance that it was cancer and to prepare herself.

This is just the beginning of a rollercoaster ride for my cousin and her children, and she’s ready.

Since being diagnosed, she’s begun to whittle down the $5,000 deductible of her medical insurance, but as anyone who’s ever dealt with a serious illness knows, the costs will continue to mount. Her current insurance claim is already near 20k. 

Jerri definitely has the heart to fight this battle, but she doesn’t have the financial means.

Please help Jerri win this part of her battle against cancer.
