Help Jerome's Journey to Recovery

Donation protected
Do you know Jerome Harris? Did you know he fostered kids for 25 years? Do you know how many children's lives he touched? Do you know what a God-fearing man he is? Do you know what an AMAZING father, husband and man he is?

As many of you know, this sweet sweet man, Jerome Harris had a stroke during the week of Thanksgiving. Jerome is now in intensive rehabilitation to regain movement and strength on his right side. This includes speaking, swallowing and of course use of his arm and leg. Jerome remains at Jim Thorpe Rehabilitation at Integris until they send him home next week, way too soon. With all this being said, Jerome has no sick or personal leave remaining at work. They do not offer disability for their employees. It is also questionable whether Jerome can work again for Tinker, if they even have a position that can accomodate him. It is likely they will have to do some handicapping to their home. After having a successful Kidney transplant a few years ago, this devout Christian, godly man who would give any of us the shirt off his back, now has the difficult task of learning how to walk and talk again. I am asking, praying, if your heart so leads you, to please donate to assist Jerome and Doris in this most difficult time. The rising medical bills, lack of work and future changes to the Harris's lifestyle is alot for them to handle.  Please know neither Jerome nor Doris has asked for this blessing.  Knowing the hardships they have already faced and the future challenges, my heart was very heavy and wanted desperatly to help.  Will you? If you are unable financially, I'm sure there are other ways to help. We can reach out to Jerome and Doris and assist with their home? Transport for Physical Therapy? Provide meals as Doris is trying to work through all of this. Please pray about this. If you are so lead, donate to Jerome's Journey to Recovery and pray for a full recovery. We love you Jerome and Doris!
