It means a lot to me that you would take time out of your busy day to read this, even if you don't donate it still means a lot that you are here. My name is Jerome Foster II. I am from Washington DC. I recently graduated from Washington Leadership Academy, an XQ Super School, in June 2020. This Fall 2020 I will be attending Pace University in New York City and I will be double majoring in Computer Science and Environmental Science. However, the tuition is very high, and I am seeking support to continue to train and educate myself in order to use my voice, in powerful and meaningful ways that gives back to our community and the world to contribute to halting the climate crisis in its tracks by advocate for the implementation of broad climate policy and technology that will safeguard our lives, future, and climate. I am reaching out to you because the total tuition for the Fall 2020 and Spring 2021 school year is $70,720 (including meal plan and housing). As apart of my financial aid package, I was given a scholarship and a loan which left my remaining cost to $45,000. In order to take this life changing opportunity. I need your help to fill the gap that remains after the financial aid. From leading marching of thousands people across downtown Washington DC to striking in front of the White House for 79 weeks, I am committed to using my voice as a tool to uplift my generation, and those to come, because now is the time for justice and now is the time bold climate action.
