Jermaine's Cancer Treatment

Hello! We are making this for our good friend Jermaine who has just been diagnosed with leukemia after dealing with chronic pain for some time. His case is so severe that the doctors haven't come up with a treatment plan for him yet. We're expecting him to start chemo soon but we aren't sure. He has already been admitted to the hospital a few times and he's had one surgery so far to remove a lymph node for further testing. We have been trying to do research into how much his treatment would cost him and it looks to be very expensive because his case seems to be extreme. Jermaine has been through a lot in his life from abuse to homelessness and he has always come out on the other side as such a positive person and friend and now it's up to us to help him through another challenging time in his life. We've come up with $30,000 as a starting amount but that number is very likely to change because of the long road to recovery we see ahead.
