Jeri Leise & Family Fire Relief

My name is Natalee Roeder. Jeri is my husband Jason's Aunt, and Jason is Katie's Godfather.  (The photo is our daughter on the beach in Costa Rica a couple of years ago with Ana, Katie, and Lizzy).  I am setting up this fund on the behalf of Jeri, Jeff, and their girls as they can not do it for themselves right now.  As you may know, in the middle of the night on Sunday October, 8, Jeff, Jeri, Ana, Katie, and Lizzy had to suddenly evacuate their home with only the clothes on their backs due to wild fires quickly approaching.  We thank God that the family (and their pets) escaped safely.  Tragically, their home, along with all of their belongings inside, was destroyed.  They are going day-to-day right now; living in hotels, eating in restaurants.  They cannot even return to the Santa Rosa area yet, and most of the people they know in the area also lost their homes.  It will be some time until they can even think about starting to get back to "normal", rebuilding, and knowing what they will need for that.  

Many people have graciously offered to help.  So we are setting up this fund.  What they need most right now is just the everyday basics: toiletries, basic clothing items, etc.  They want to try and get the girls some of their familiar things that were lost in the fire to help them cope with the loss.  The bills for hotel stays and eating out are also adding up, and the insurance money will be a ways out in coming.  

The best way to help this family right now is by donating to this fund to help them with these things. We have set goal of $5,000 to get them off to a start, but as you can imagine, the total amount they will need will surely far surpass that.   Any little bit helps!
