Jeremy's Rally Against Cancer

Jeremy (CJ) Sabo is a 23 year old young man who was going about his life when he went to the ER with severe chest pain and shortness of breath. Thinking it may be pneumonia, he was soon diagnosed with a rare form of Lymphoma called T Cell Lymphoblastic Lymphoma (T-LLy or TLBL). This news came just 2 weeks after he and his girlfriend Marissa had moved out on their own, starting their life together with a baby due in February!
Jeremy has been at the City of Hope Cancer Treatment Center in Duarte, CA since November 23, 2016 and started cancer treatment on December 1, 2016. He will be there a few more weeks and hopefully transfer to outpatient treatment by Christmas. His chemotherapy is expected to be intense for 6-8 months, with maintenance for 2-3 years. He won’t be able to work for at least 9 months.
My name is Sharon Aguilera and I have known Jeremy since he was a baby. His entire family are dear friends of mine. He is a fine young man who works hard and gives of himself to others. He needs our help now. Thank you for your generosity and prayers for Jeremy’s healing journey.
HOW THE MONEY WILL BE USED:
Funds raised in this campaign will go directly to provide:
- The substantial out-of-pocket medical expenses (after insurance pays all it will)
- Living expenses as State Disability payments will not cover all expenses (even though Jeremy and Marissa -- and baby Gavin when he arrives in February! - are blessed to live with his mom and step-dad)
- Possible legal fees if landlord pursues legal action as Jeremy and Marissa had to break the lease on the home they just rented
