Jeremy's Road to Recovery

Donation protected
Jeremy was helping his boss move booths from his home to the Ponds golf course and while loading them Jeremy bent down to put in a bolt and 600-800lbs fell off the fork lift crushing his body, leaving him unable to move.

The ambulance brought Jeremy immediately to the Emergency room where he underwent scans and tests and determined that his spine had been crushed into several pieces.  Thankfully, he is able to move his arms and legs to alleviate some of the pressure and the doctors said they don’t understand how with such a compound injury that he is not paralyzed.  He is currently undergoing surgery to try and repair the damage to his spine. They said it should be a 3 hour surgery and we are now going on 4 1/2 hours.    The doctors are hopeful that he may be able to return home in a few days if the surgery goes well but he’ll be limited to restricted bed rest with a future full of physical therapy and doctors appointments.  And most likely will not be able to return to work until after Christmas.

Needless to say, it’s going to be a long road to full recovery for Jeremy, Renee, Tenley and Jasper.

All of the texts, facebook messages and drop offs have truly shown the Keevilles just how much you care.  They appreciate it more than you know.

This is going to be a trying time not only physically but emotionally for the Keeville Family. We would just like to try and alleviate some of the daily financial burdens for them as they navigate through this tragic event.

We will keep you updated as much as we can!
