In September 2017, Jeremy's life was turned upside down as he was diagnosed with Stage 3 Colorectal Cancer which had also spread to his pelvic lymph nodes.
To add to his stress, he was laid off from his job of 15 years a week after he got his diagnosis. Due to the complexity and location of his tumor it was recommended that he be seen at Mayo clinic in Rochester, MN. Jeremy's first appointment at Mayo was in November 2017 where his treatment plan was discussed.
Jeremy's treatment plan consisted of 6 weeks of daily Chemotherapy and Radiation, which he finished in January. Jeremy will be having a complex surgery on March 22nd, at Mayo, in hopes to remove the tumor along with the affected lymph nodes. After the surgery, Jeremy will then have to complete another round of Chemotherapy.
Jeremy and his family can use any and all support/prayers as they embark on this long, difficult journey.
