Jeremy Douglass Family Emergency

Jeremy Douglass was raised here in Wenatchee and has many friends and family members still here.  
On March 29th, 2017, Jeremy and his wife, Shantel, welcomed their second child Ezra John Douglass.  Within a few days, Ezra contracted a viral infection which caused difficulty in eating and interfered with normal suckling development any infant would learn during their first days of life.  In addition, he presents with a severe milk allergy and the inability to bottle feed. Ezra is currently being fed 24 hours a day with a feeding tube, regurgitates most of his nutrients, and as a result has only gained 3.5 lbs since birth.  Ezra's feeding tube must bypass his stomach to his duodenum to increase his chance of absorbing nutrients.  Each can of formula is costing the family $46.00 and only lasts for a few days. The physical, emotional, and financial strain that Jeremy and Shantel have incurred has taken a tremendous toll on both of them.  Sadly, a few months after Ezra's birth, Shantel discovered a lump in her breast.  The lump has been determined to be cancer and she is facing a double mastectomy in August.  The family is devastated, confused, scared, and in desperate need of financial assistance as they are a single income family.  Please extend your hand to this family and help relieve some of the burden of the specialized food for Ezra, medical costs of the mastectomy and the loss of work that Jeremy is experiencing while he guides his family through the darkest of times.  Please know that any contribution regardless of size will be greatly appreciated.
