NorCal Wildfire Relief efforts

Hello family and friends,
My name is Jennifer Losito and I live in San Diego. I have started this site to raise money for the victims of the Norcal wildfires.  The damage is devastating, and fires  are still raging.  While I know that there is so much tragedy going on in this world, this is near and dear to my heart and in our own backyard.  The money I raise will be going to BASIC human needs...hygiene bags, toiletries, items for children, SOCKS, working gloves, water, pets, and whatever else I can do with the money raised. But I'm starting with the basics to just keep people going.  I will be working directly with the Salvation Army and the money raised will be purchasing grocery gift cards and target gift cards for all those in need.  I will be working out of the assistance center in Santa Rosa alongside of FEMA, Red Cross, Salvation Army, and all other resource station victims may need to get back on their feet.

I feel it's important to make one thing clear.  Wine country is not a rich area.  They are farmers.  They are workers.  Losing crops like vines cannot just "be replaced."  They are decades of work. This is their sole livelihood! Some people very close to me have not only lost their homes, but their places of work as well.  That is literally the meaning of left with nothing. 

ANY donation can help!  Even $1 !  Do you kow how much a small donation of  $5 can buy?  I made a very basic list:
2 cases of water
4 pair of socks
1 pair of work gloves
2 packs of masks
1 bag of animal food
1 meal
That's  just the beginning!  I have been in contact with major companies for donations or at least discounted items to purchase in bulk.  We can do this!  Please, please share with all your families and friends and know that any donation, no matter small or large, will have an IMMEDIATE impact once I arrive.  Thank you in advance for your participation in this relief effort.  All we can do is our best.  I won't let you down!
