Jensen is braving the chop!

My son Jensen has just turned 7 years old and he has been growing his hair long since he was 3!

Before now, Jensen has always been adamant he wanted to keep his long hair, however earlier this year he told me he wanted to cut it. That’s when I told him about this amazing charity. I explained what they do with the hair and where it goes and he was so excited to do this, throughout the year we’ve continued to ask him if this is still what he wishes and each time he is adamant that he wants to cut those gorgeous golden locks and donate them, which honestly doesn’t surprise me in the slightest!

If you know him, you know despite the challenges he’s had to overcome in his life he’s grown into an amazing, kind boy with so much empathy and beauty in his heart, he’d be the first one to hug you if you hurt yourself or comfort you if you were upset!

The idea of donating his hair makes him beam with the biggest smile every time we ask him!

A little bit about the charity:

The Little Princess Trust provides free real hair wigs to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or other conditions.

“When a child loses their hair to cancer, we'll be there with a free, real hair wig to help restore their confidence and identity. You can help us give hair and hope to children and young people, by funding real hair wigs and ground-breaking childhood cancer research projects.”

On average it costs £700 to make a wig, however to create this life changing gift they need donations,
