Our beautiful friend, Jen Burch, is in need of help for cancer treatment and healing.
Jennifer was diagnosed with colon cancer in June, just before she was due to move to Peru to teach yoga. She recently had colon re-section surgery and will have ongoing chemotherapy over the next year. Her family is currently working on financing her health insurance and living expenses during this time when she is unable to work.
Jennifer hired a naturopathic oncologist (not covered by insurance) to work with her conventional oncologist to help support her in this journey with the right supplements and care. Nutrition wise, Jen needs some specialized shakes that are easily digested and absorbed, but come at a high cost. She would also like to have weekly care in the form of bodywork and acupuncture once she is able to do so. Jen would appreciate any financial support towards covering these nutritional and integrative costs which will cost her about 1000/month. In the future, once her body is more healed, she would be happy in return to offer you Zero Balancing bodywork, yoga, or qigong.
