Jenny's Hurricane Recovery Fund

Dear Friends.

If you've been a member of our wonderful joe gardener Facebook family for even one day prior to hurricane Maria, you likely know our beloved Jenny Hernandez. 

Jenny is perhaps the most active, and definitely the most loving, encouraging, and supportive member we have.

She's the cheerleader we all want on our team with things are not going our way.

Well lately, things have not gone Jenny's way. She lives in Puerto Rico and experienced devastating losses to hurricane Maria.
 
Her home is destroyed, she is lacking most of the basic necessities of life, and she's not really sure where to start in the recovery process.

You see, she pretty much lost everything. 

So here's our chance to show what we're really all about as a family of passionate gardeners and givers. 

Let's help Jenny,  as generously as possible. I have no doubt she would give any of us all she had if we needed it. 

Well now, she definitely needs any support you can offer. 

I set our goal at a level I hope we blow by. No ceiling can be too high. She has nothing and needs so much. 

We have 5,000 members.

If half of us donated just $10 each we'd reach the goal I've set. Yet, I plan on doing more and I hope you will too.

Let's demonstrate to Jenny what this group is really all about: a family of loving caring people who are there for each other in times of need like this.

We are fortunate that most of us are not going through the tragic losses Jenny is having to deal with now. 

Collectively, we can make a huge difference in Jenny's life with a minimal donation.
