Jenny’s past year has been a doozy!

In June 2019 she started having problems with walking and talking. Initially, doctors thought she was having a series of strokes. She spent 4 days in the hospital. After lots of blood drawn, a Lumbar Puncture, MRI, a CT scan and 3 days of Steroid infusions she left with no real answers. More than a month later she met with a neurologist who looked over her test results and diagnosed her with Multiple Sclerosis. (A disease in which the immune system eats away at the protective covering of nerves. There is currently no cure.)
Her treatment plan is Ocrevus Infusions every 6 months. It's a whole day ordeal. Afterwards she has to have blood drawn and a new MRI with a follow-up with her neurologist.
As if that wasn't enough...
February 18th, 2020, 2 days after her 36th birthday she was diagnosed with Endometrial Cancer that required a full hysterectomy that she had in March 2020.
With the combination of recovering from surgery and Covid-19 she didn't return to work until July!
2020 just won't let up. Now, Jenny has had to endure a 3 hour MRI to check for new MS lesions on her spine. Which came back, and there was a new one.
She has had a follow-up oncology appointment (She has to have maintenance follow-ups every 6 months for 3 years) and they want her to have a CT scan of her abdomen and pelvis.
Additionally, she has a series of appointments coming up for a small growth on her forehead and a lump in her armpit.
To think after all she's been through already she may have a new cancer to battle is unimaginable!

The medical bills are constantly growing. The time she has to take off from work for new doctor appointments is a lot!
She has exhausted her FMLA and PTO for the year. While she has a different job protection law in place all the time she'll be taking off from now until the end of the year will be unpaid!
Here's hoping we can raise enough money to ease the stress of mounting bills.
