Jenn Moves to Uganda!!

Hello friends! I'm thrilled to announce that this July, I will be moving to Uganda for 10-12 months to serve with International Justice Mission. You can read more on my blog at jenninkampala.com .
Who is IJM?
IJM is Christian human rights agency that exists to prevent violent oppression against the poor throughout the world.
And I’m honored to be a part of that mission. As IJM and its partners work to reduce crime and strengthen local justice systems, they enable the poor to pursue a better life free from fear and violence.
What am I doing in Kampala?
I will be assisting the Kampala field office in tackling a serious issue known as property grabbing. When a husband or father dies, women & children are often violently forced off their land. Without legal protection, wind up homeless, destitute, and vulnerable to further exploitation.
Grace's story:
In response, IJM Kampala works to rescue & restore survivors, prosecute perpetrators, and train & equip police and government officials.
My specific role involves monitoring and evaluating a program in order to measure and maximize our impact on the Ugandan justice system. I will be working with various departments and Ugandan agencies to collect and analyze data and develop solutions.
Will you support me in the fight against injustice?
While this is a huge honor, I cannot do this alone. I invite you to partner with me through financial, emotional, and spiritual support. This is an unpaid fellowship, and I am giving up my salary and trusting God to provide for my needs. I hope to raise $11,000 by the end of December, all of which will go towards monthly expenses (food, housing, medical, etc). If you would like to support me in this work financially, I would be incredibly grateful!
