Help for Jennifer

Beginning in September of 2017, Jennifer began experiencing pain and numbness in her feet. As time progressed so did Jennifer's symptoms with the numbness spreading from her hands and feet to her arms, legs, and face, and even affecting her eye sight. She began a series of doctor visits, including two neurologist, an ophthalmologist, and a referral to MUSC.
Jennifer is a single, loving mother of two boys. It is difficult to see her unable to walk or even stand to care for her children. She has limited movement and feeling in her hands and fingers and her eyesight is continuing to worsen. She has to rely heavily on the assistance of others for daily tasks I have often taken for granted.
With Jennifer's limited mobility and vision, working became extremely difficult forcing Jennifer to take a doctor approved leave that is, unfortunately, without pay. She will hopefully start to recieve aproximately 66% of her salary (she's a bank teller) once her disability through her work is approved but that will only be for 3 months. As her friend I rejoiced that she would not have to exhaust herself trying to work in her condition, but I also know that no pay will add to her stress. It is my hope that this page will help raise money to take care of her household bills and the mounting medical bills.
Jennifer is one of those friends who is always willing to help anyone in need. She has gone above and beyond to do for others. I have been the recipient of that love and support and I have witnessed her giving to countless others. This time she needs us! I pray God pricks your heart for her and you find a way to help her and her sweet boys.
