Help with surgery expenses.

Please help!
I have been undergoing hospital surgeries and visits since April 2017, because of the results of a staph infection due to a hip replacement I had on December 15, 2015.

Since April 2017, I have been in the hospital and a rehab center.  My hip was dislocated after surgery while doctors tried to treat my infection.  After months of antibiotic IVs, I was able to have hip surgery to correct the dislocation that occurred from the first surgery.

In July 2017, during hip surgery, my femur was fractured. Doctors put a rod in my leg to stabilize my femur and tied cables to hold it in place. Very painful to wake up from surgery to hear you have another injury. I went back to my rehab center after multiple days in ICU and in the hospital getting blood transfusions. While it was a slow recovery, things were looking like I would have a chance to make it for my son’s wedding reception in November. I already missed his wedding in July.

October 30, the rehab center said insurance wasn't going to cover me anymore and I needed to go home. Thankfully my son was able to take me home.  Moving around my home in a wheelchair is difficult but I am thankful that I can be home.  I also deal with rheumatoid arthritis in my wrist everyday making easy tasks challenging.

I made it to my son’s wedding reception and was so thankful to be a part of his wedding celebration.  Family and friends I haven't got to see in a while were all there to celebrate and enjoy great memories.

My daughter has come home from Colorado and has stayed with me to take me to my doctor’s appointment and make life a little easier until she needs to go back to work.

Nov. 21, I went to get an X-ray update of my femur fracture. Turns out that the cables have broken and the rod is pulling way from the femur, not healing. My current doctor on the case says there isn't much else he can do and I will need to go to a specialist.

I am now searching for specialist who will take my case. I am praying that someone can help me. Looking for care under my insurance plan is necessary because I do not have any money to pay for a specialist. Bills are adding up and I have lost my job because of these surgeries. I am doing my best to survive and make it.

Donate if you are able.  Pray for me and help me get through this.  Thank you for reading my story, and considering me in your thoughts.
