Jennifer's lost eyesight

Donation protected
As only a few of you are aware, but my sweet Jennifer has lost part of her eyesight.

shortly after arriving in California,  Jen noticed a spot in her sight. after a few days, it was worse. we were worried. We sought help and found it at East Bay Retinal in Concord.  she was given a diagnosis called non arteritic ischemic optic neuropathy. there's no chance of it getting better, it could remain the same or continue to get worse. there is more for the doctors to do, and they were nice to reduce as much of the costs as possible, but we do not have health insurance at the moment. this is out of pocket for us. not part of the plan.

our plan was to use the income and savings we had to get a place to live. Jennifer would return to work and one of us would buy health insurance through our employer.

we didn't even get that far. this all happened in our first 2 weeks here. we aren't established California residents yet. and everything is falling apart now because of this.

please help with any amount you can. we need to recover to get back to where we were. once we get settled, we can begin to grow roots here and manage Jennifer's eyesight loss.

I appreciate everyone of you.
