Jennifer's fund

My friend Jennifer has been fighting brain cancer (Glioma) for about 4 years.  Initially they did surgery, it returned last year and has been treated with radiation and chemotherapy drugs.  She still manages to make it to work 4 days a week (most of the time).

She has slowly fallen behind on her rent payments over the course of several months, after her roommate moved out it took awhile to find a suitable replacement, and now she has been served an eviction notice.

 She is due in court on March 15 per her eviction paperwork.  It is quite urgent that she get help as soon as possible.

She is one of my heroes.  She has kept a good attitude, and has been supportive and loving to me when my husband Charles was ill with lung cancer.  

Sadly we lost Charles last June.  Jennifer was friends with Charles for decades, and a friend of mine since He and I began dating. 

She is one of the most creative and fascinating women I've ever met.  Jennifer is a writer and musician, and she has a shoe shine chair at the Tonsorial Parlour on 3rd and Stark downtown. 

She has so much on her plate already, to have to find another rental option, after being evicted, would be very defeating for her.  
I'm asking your help just to catch up on her back rent and associated late fees, and then we can find a way to manage it in the future. 
For now, we need to stop the eviction.

Please help a sister stay on her feet, with her dignity intact.  
Her future is uncertain, but She and her aging cat Leonard need to stay in their home as long as possible. 

Thanks to all those who shared the love during and after Charles illness and my dog Louie's double knee surgery.  Louie is doing fantastic!
