Jennifer's heart transplant

Jennifer Phillips age 33 is currently residing at UK hospital in Lexington KY in the cardiac unit diagnosed with heart failure. A series of tests have been given to determine her eligible for a heart transplant.  Jennifer is a resident of Jefferson county which is about an hr from UK where she receives her treatment.  She is 33 with children ages 9, 7, and 2.  An internal defibrillator and a direct infusion of a medication called milrinone are being used in combination to keep her heart going long enough until a transplant is located. With no vehicle it will be difficult to get back and forth to get appointments as well as everyday care for her young children. Prescription costs are high as co pays add up. We appreciate any help.
