Jennifer Small's Cancer Fund

In October 2016 Jennifer Small was diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer.  Since her diagnosis she has undergone surgery to remove the cancer from her colon, as well as, a portion of her liver.  Jen is currently undergoing chemotherapy which has rendered her unable to work.  She returned to work in March while undergoing chemo treatments.  Due to the nature of her job as a head custodian for the Plainfield School District (a 20 employee) and the impact chemotherapy has had on her body her medical team determined that returning to work was not in her best interest. 

At this point, Jen is financially responsible for her insurance benefits.  The funds collected would assist Jen in paying for the COBRA insurance so she can remain at home during her treatments. 

We do not know when Jen will be able to return to work.  Please help us support her during this difficult time.
