Hello you lovely lot,
Some of you may know us, well, not so well. Very sadly during the height of lockdown mum had a very severe stroke, among all this she was in an ongoing battle with korsokoffs syndrome. Mum spent 5 weeks in hospital, with neither myself, dad or my brother unable to visit her, she went through all this alone. She got discharged back to her care home, only for a short time until very unfortunately she fell very ill. She got rushed into hospital where they confirmed she had sepsis. We sat by my mums side, day in day out for weeks watching her deteriorating. As a family this absolutely broke us. But mum kept fighting, like the strong woman she is, she fought long and hard for 2 weeks before sadly she lost her fight on Saturday 18th july and 5.20am. My mum was the most gentle soul, anyone who knew her, knew she was so gentle. We want to give her the send of she deserves. So I'm asking for your help.
