Jennifer Newman memorial fund.

Jennifer was an amazing mother, wife, friend, colleague and teacher. She devoted her life to her own children as well as the countless others who she taught over the years.

Having recovered from breast cancer two years ago, Jennifer thought her life had returned to normal but unfortunately at the beginning of this year the cancer returned.  The stoic and upbeat person that she was, she carried on teaching - supporting her colleagues and pupils despite considerable pain.  Sadly radiotherapy and chemotherapy did nothing to halt the progression of her illness and now she has gone.

Jennifer has left behind a family who are now not only struggling to adjust to their terrible loss but also left in considerable financial difficulty. Her son Finn suffers with muscular dystrophy and has recently started to use a wheel chair. Husband Joe is the main care giver to both Finn and his sister Flora and Jennifer was the sole bread winner.

This fund is asking for an opportunity for Jennifer's family to recover from this tragedy with dignity.  Please donate whatever you can to help Joe to continue to care for his children, both of whom need his time and support more than ever.
