Jennifer McGaughey

Friends, our hearts are heavy but full of hope. Our friend and colleague, Jennifer McGaughey is in need. Unfortunately, Jennifer has recently been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Jennifer and her husband Blair have never been ones to ask for help- they're usually the ones doing the helping-but as Jennifer faces a series of treatments, her Fontaine Family would like to ask for help on her behalf. Jen has a flurry of treatments coming up that will make it impossible for her to return to work in the near future. Her treatment plan is being orchestrated by the staff at John's Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. It is a world renowned institution and we are happy that she will be getting the best of care. That being said, the traveling, the treatment, the loss of work and the expense of someone to look after her beloved pups will put an immense strain on the family. 

To explain how our paths crossed, it all started with Jennifer wanting a new career path. In the past, she had been a successful business woman in Philadelphia in sales and, being up for a challenge, Jennifer recently decided to get her Real Estate license. She succeeded in doing just that and decided to join Fontaine Family-The Real Estate Leader in the Auburn office in April and has been immersing herself in learning the business ever since. She has been amazing to watch as she navigates the waters, a true professional through and through. Her clients and coworkers love her and her Fontaine Family is anxiously awaiting her return. We call Jennifer our ray of sunshine. She always brightens up a room with her smile, that twinkle in her eye and her gregarious laugh. We miss her and we want her back soon!
