My best friend was recently diagnosed with (AML) we beat breast cancer last year, and this year a new challenge has come up.  While God is in control, we are seeking help with medical expenses. Anything will help. 

Hello FB family & friends. I wanted to share something with all the people who care about me. You know that I beat the challenge of breast cancer last year. Last week during a routine check up it was discovered that I now have Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). This is a rare and aggressive form of cancer. I just finished 3 chemo treatments this week. And next week I’ll be admitted into Wake Forest Baptist for about 6 weeks. This is because my immune system will be wiped clean and I will need constant attention to attack any infections. I will also be receiving blood transfusions. A few months after my stay there I will also need a bone marrow transplant. I’m blessed that my brother is willing to see if he is a match for me. Once that is accomplished the hope is that I’d be cured. The last time I didn’t really share what was going on. But this time I need all the prayers I can get. This is an enormous challenge for me. But I know God is always with me. And my strength comes from God.
