My sister-in-law Jennifer Cangialosi, was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. Any of you who know Jennifer know that she is a very caring, giving and considerate person, great mother of three beautiful children, loving wife and a wonderful part of our family.
As you can imagine, Jennifer has been through a lot since she was diagnosed.. emotionally, physically and mentally. It has been a very tough time, though she has been a real trooper and an inspiration to me. After her surgery the doctors are treating Jennifer with a combination of chemotherapy, radiation and hormone therapy.
My mind cannot begin to comprehend the magnitude of all Jennifer will be going through during her treatment. As if this alone isn't beyond what any one person should be asked to take on, it does not encompass all the ways her life and her family's will be affected emotionally and in every capacity imaginable. I am sure any of us would not think twice if we had the ability to take away any pain our loved ones are faced with, as we would want others to help us in our time of need. Even though we don't have the power to change the effects of the treatment Jennifer will endure, we have the power to pray for an easier experience and increased healing to her body each and every day. So please include Jennifer and her family in your prayers during this time.
Additionally, your financial support of any contribution will be put to great use to help cover uninsured medical bills, extra travel expenses to a multitude of doctor and treatment appointments, child watching care. in-home nurse care, cleaning services, food deliveries and general help managing daily errands of life which are hard to manage when we're straight up healthy.
Ultimately, my hope is for Jennifer's children to be impacted as little as possible and so it is essential to keep their home life routines to a level of minimal disruption to them. Regrettably, to add to all the strain, after 6 years of developing the US Operational office for an International Millwork company, Joseph's employer recently eliminated his Managing Partner position. With this added hardship and the uncertainty of the timing to solidify another job opportunity and health benefits, while making Jennifer's recovery top priority, as well as the well-being of his family, I felt the added need to start this fund.
Your support is greatly appreciated and any assistance you can offer is directly helping Jennifer through her cancer treatments, as she focuses regaining her health while to a great degree eliminating the additional strain of worrying about tending to her family's needs. Thank you for your generosity and assistance. We all love you Jen and we are all here for you.. praying and supporting you through this. You got this Jen and through the possibilities of this fund, I hope to say we got the rest. Much love and gratitude to all.
