Jenna Osmond is originally from a small logging community named Hampden in the beautiful province of Newfoundland and Labrador. She currently resides in St. John's, Newfoundland, pursuing her degree in Biochemistry. With her strong work ethic, she is a goal-driven individual who enjoys weight-training, many forms of outdoor activities, quality time with friends and family, beach fires, reading, learning, and playing the button accordion. She has worked part-time as a waitress while attending university and has also been a model in a group known as Runway Rejects for Mike Mahoney Photography. Jenna cherishes her Newfoundland culture as does her family which has reflected her interest in playing the accordion. She is proud of her Newfoundland heritage and is grateful to be a part of this country which is also very rich in diversity and cultures. Jenna's involvement throughout her life with her parent's business in the lumber and logging industry has instilled some very important morals and values for her, which she carries everyday and also plans to bring to the competition. She enjoys working and helping others in any way she possibly can. Jenna has been an active member of the Children's Wish foundation for many years and is always looking to further her involvement with charities, particularly children charities as she truly believes it is our children that represent the future. Jenna's sincere hope is to utilize her skills, experience, and knowledge to the best of her ability to help and support others. She is very thankful for this opportunity of being a part of Miss Canada Globe and hopes that it may further open doors to her future.
Any help is kindly appreciated. For every dollar raised, Jenna will be donating five cents to the Children's Wish Foundation :)
