Jene`s Amtrak Disaster Fund

The Amtrak train derailment that happened on 12/18/2017 has hit close to home for many in the PNW. Jene’ Bohannon and her family were directly impacted by this disaster.
Her partner Donnell and his son Quincy were involved in the disaster. They were both hospitalized and are receiving the care they need. Donnell sustained the most injuries while protecting his son during the crash. Donnell suffered broken orbital fractures, a deep skull based fracture, multiple mid facial fractures, a fractured clavicle, a subdural hematoma, and soft tissue lacerations to his extremities. Donnell has a long road to recovery. Donnell had surgery to address his mid facial fractures that will leave him with his mouth wired shut. He will have to breathe through tracheostomy.
Needless to say, this put an enormous amount of stress and worry on the family. Jene’ is an amazing skilled and talented Surgical Technologist at Swedish Cherry Hill and provides exceptional care to her patients. Donnell is a loving dedicated father, manager at Home Depot and volunteer Fire Fighter. Quincy is a talented basketball player and exceptional student.
Unfortunately, Jene has to take time off to care for Donnell. Holidays aside, the road to recovery is long and uncertain. Amtrak is supposed to take care of the medical bills of the victims, but that does not give the family the day to day financial support to pay for rent, bills, and other living costs. To ease some of the burden of making ends meet; this gofundme account was set up to offset the cost of living, while Jene helps care for Donnell.
It is now time to help in the healing process. Any donations are much appreciated. Anything to allow the family to move towards the healing process.
