On March 5, my sister Jen was told that the breast lump she found at 33wks pregnant wasn't "normal pregnancy changes" as she had hoped, but was Triple Negative Breast Cancer- a rare but aggressive type of breast cancer.
Her beautiful baby girl, Madelyn Hope, was delivered early so Jen can begin the necessary chemotherapy that this type of cancer calls for.
