Emergency Winter Appeal

Endless Medical Advantage (EMA) is the only community led mobile health clinic in Lebanon providing essential primary healthcare services to thousands of vulnerable communities across Central and West Bekaa, Lebanon. EMA was established as a primary healthcare organisation and in times of crisis, EMA adapts to the growing needs of the community; continuing to provide primary healthcare services to the isolated communities across Bekaa. Lebanon has given shelter to 1.5 million Syrian refugees, many of whom have limited access to medical services.

As winter approaches, the cold weather will bring new challenges to our health services especially at a time where medications are unaffordable for most of the community; basic medications have increased over 300% in cost in the last year. In addition, the cost of diesel, which is used to fuel the heating system is now over 10 times more expensive however the monthly income remains the same. This winter, many families may go without basic heating and essential medical supplies as they simply cannot afford it.

We are aiming to support as many individuals and families as possible with essential fuel during the harsh winter months as well as much needed medications as the number of patients in the daily increases week on week. Any funds kindly donated to this project will be withdrawn by a member of the EMA core team and used to finance the running of this project on the ground in Lebanon.

This initiative has been established to deliver front line support in one of the worlds most troubled and disrupted environments.
