Hello All,
We are raising money for our friend Mike. He is currently in need of medical treatment to remove a cancerous spot from his face.
Mike is in his 60's, and lives alone in Utah County with his dog, Buddy. He previously owned a trucking business for many years, but has had to downsize due to medical issues leaving him with a single truck for smaller jobs.
Mike had open heart surgery a few years back to repair damage due to a heart attack. To help pay for those medical bills, he sold off all but one of his fleet of trucks (along with many other possessions), keeping only the one to use and earn some income. Unfortunately, that income is not enough to pay for his current medical needs.
Mike went to a dermatologist about two years ago to have a spot checked out, and was diagnosed with skin cancer. Unfortunately, Mike was not educated at the time of his diagnosis about the severity of his cancer and let it go untreated. He recently went to the doctor because it is getting worse. He was told he needed surgery ASAP or it would be fatal.
Mike's insurance deductible is too high for him to pay with his small income. If he can get some help from some of you generous people, it will likely save his life. It would allow him to get this surgery and take care of the post-op reconstructive surgery after removing the cancer.
Mike is a very generous man. He offers his help to those who need it in any way he can. He doesn't have much, but what he does have, he gives freely. Mike's home has always been open to people in need.
He has shown us kindness and generosity and we would like to show him the same with your help.
