Hello! As most of you know, I have been attending the Harold Ramis Film School at The Second City in Chicago this year. It is a highly selective program and the world's first film school that focuses on comedic storytelling.
I've let the puns fly here since January, but now I am gearing up to make my final short film. I am the writer, director, and editor of this film, one of the biggest productions I've ever undertaken.
The comedy short, "Undying Love" tells the story of a picky young woman, who, tired of the dating game, makes a desperate attempt and tries a dating app for ghosts who date women. It's got ghosts, love, laughs, and, of course, some puns you'll DIE for!
I'm asking for contributions to help make this film and be able to bring my work to life. Your contributions will help cover the costs of:
• Gear Rental (camera, lights, etc.)
• Location Rental
• On-Set Catering for Crew and Actors
• Props/Make Up
• And more key details
(Contributors will be thanked in the credits!)
Any donations would mean the world to myself and the crew as up-and-coming filmmakers. It's important to me to bring stories of queer women to life, increasing visibility and representation in media. Additionally, most of the crew and cast are strong, hilarious, female creators, so your help will also support bringing more female-centered and powered work to the film and television industry.
