Maddies "needs" Help!

At the age of 9 my daughter Madison was diagnosed with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, at the time we had never heard of it, now we wish we never had.
1 1/2 yrs ago she was found to have sleep apnea, it was thought this could be fixed be removing her tonsils and adenoids, but it only made it worse. Last year just before turning 14 she was fitted with a bipap machine. In Jan last year Maddie was diagnosed with Gastroparesis after 6 months of vomiting this consistently caused dehydration which led to her having a power port placed in her chest for rehydration. After only 1 month with the port was admitted to ICU at DeVos to have a feeding tube placed. The feeding tube goes directly into her intestines due to the stomach being paralyzed. Fast forward to about 8 weeks ago Maddie became sick with a intestinal bug, which has damaged her intestine. She was once again admitted to ICU, for 9 days just before Christmas. My goal was to give her a great Christmas and keep her healthy, with the help of family and friends we have accomplished most of that, the hardest being the healthy. The day after Christmas she was seen by primary care who did some med and feed adjustments, but only to get her through Aunt Joys Open House, where she wanted to go so bad to see family. I spoke with the GI specialist at DeVos and we are now planning a trip to Nationwide Childrens Hospital in Columbus Ohio, for her to be seen by a Motility specialist who also has dealt with Ehlers Danlos.
With all of this said for those of you who don't know, I am on disability after sustaining a traumatic brain injury 4 yrs ago. Income is VERY limited and this trip will be costly.
Also, Maddie has been out of school for over a year now and her hope is to go back as soon as possible, but at this point we are needing to have Teddy, her standard poodle trained as her service dog, my hopes are that this will help to fund that training as well.
This is so hard to ask for this kind of help, but a good friend pointed out she is worth putting my pride aside for.
Thank you in advance, love you all.
