Jeff's Fund For Medical Expenses

Dear Friends and Family,

I need your help.  For the past decade or so, I've been battling diabetes, losing toe after toe until, finally, a few months ago, losing my entire left foot and most of my left leg below the knee.  Needless to say, it's been a miserable year so far as I've spent nearly all of it in hospitals and rehab centers.  I haven't been able to work, and I've spent whatever cash I had just trying to keep up with hospital bills and other medical expenses.  I need your help to pay for a decent prosthetic so that I can go back to work and to move to an apartment that can accomodate my new situation.  

This is not easy for me, and I wouldn't be doing this unless I really, really needed the help.  Please, I am in a dire situation.
