Jeff’s cancer help fund

My heart aches to even create this GoFundMe for my brother. As most of you know Jeff recently decided to change careers and become a firefighter. Little did we know this was a career change that very well saved his life. Once he finished school he was hired onto Sumter County Fire Dept. He was elated and we were all so proud of him. He was required to go through a life scan where they found a small mass on his thyroid. Most doctors would’ve ignored it but the fire dept made him have it biopsied. It turned out to be malignant and now he has to have surgery to have his thyroid removed and go through radiation.  

Jeff, his wife Heather and their 2 beautiful daughters are expecting a new addition to their family in June of this year, all the while Jeff is  currently dealing with his own mother going through chemo therapy to beat Mets to her liver. It’s been a very trying year and we are all staying as positive as we can but bills are going to soon become a problem and he can’t (and refuses to) take much time off work being a brand new fire fighter to his dept. and baby on the way. 

Jeff is a very proud man and would never talk about this let alone ask for help. So as his sister I’m doing this just as a safety cushion for him and his family. ANY AND ALL HELPS!
