For each donation of $20 your name will be entered into our drawing for 2 tickets to this years Ohio State VS Michigan Game on Saturday November 25th @ Michigan Stadium. The proceeds will be donated to The Toledo Clinic Foundation/Patient Assistance Fund.
This is is our story..... On October, 30, 2011, a chilly fall evening while watching Sunday Night football, Jeff developed severe should pain that we would later come to realize was referred pain from Stage IV Colon Cancer that had spread to his liver. Jeff fought bravely until he was called home on February 6, 2014. Jeff, always strong and in control, hated the idea going to chemo every other week until he was welcomed and cared for so warmly by the nurses and staff at The Toledo Clinic Cancer Center. A once difficult day of the week became bearable as he developed friendships and grew to trust those whom cared for him. Those same nurses and staff started a "Patient Assistance Fund" for their patients whom were less fortunate than Jeff and I whom thankfully had great health care and a support systems to get us through the most difficult time in our young lives.
Therefore, in the fall of 2014, with the help of friends and family, we started an annual fundraiser in Jeff's name to honor the same people whom cared for Jeff each and every day of his illness. Those whom knew Jeff, would not question that he was undoubtly one of the biggest not only in starture but in heart, not to mention the biggest Michigan Fan you will ever know. Therefore, it is only fitting that we center this event around his favorite activity and place on earth. This year's event will take place at the University of Michigan Golf Course on October 7, 2017 as we cheer on U of M against MSU. Understanding that some may not be able to attend the event, we did want to provide an easy way to make donations.
