Jeff Michner Foundation

Jeff Michner was the Executive Chef of Pig Beach BBQ in Gowanus Brooklyn.  He tragically, and suddenly passed away in the spring of 2018 at the age of 36, leaving behind his wife Sara, and his 16-month-old daughter Hayes.  We will never overcome the loss of Jeff, and we will always keep his memory alive with us, while helping to take care of families in similar situations.  The Jeff Michner Foundation is an established 501c3 dedicated to raising money for scholarships for young adults with an interest in cooking, support families managing loss & grief, and donate to the Brain Research Foundation.  The Jeff Michner BBQ Benefit will be an epic event held at Pig Beach BBQ in Brooklyn NY where some of the best pit masters, in the country will be joining to lend their support.
