Jeff LaCombe Cancer Benefit

Our dad, Jeff LaCombe, was diagnosed with stage IV colon cancer at age 56 in 2013. He underwent several surgeries and was cancer free for a few years, but has been unable to work since this time. Having to stop working years before planned or expected added extra financial strain on top of the medical bills and other expenses.
In April 2017, his cancer came back. It had spread to his liver and lymph nodes. He started chemotherapy in May 2017, and had surgery at the end of June to remove part of his liver. During surgery the cancer was found to have spread through the diaphragm also. Chemo was not effective.
In July 2017 the doctors tried a new chemo treatment that continued to try to slow the spread of the cancer..
At this point the cancer is spreading and chemo is not an option anymore. We are doing our best to make the most of the time he has left.
We are trying to raise money to help the family with his ongoing expenses. Any donations are greatly appreciated.
Family is also hosting a Benefit for him at Applejack's Bar & Grill in Marinette, WI, on Saturday, March 3, 2018, from 11:30am - 4:30pm. Tickets for the benefit are sold at the door for $10/person on the day of the event. Children under 5 are free.
